About Peachtree Southern Kitchen
Peachtree Southern Kitchen & Cocktails will feature a modern twist to traditional Southern cooking. Its menu will offer variations of traditional foods served in restaurants from North Carolina and South Carolina, down the East coast through Virginia and on to Georgia; and include menu concoctions of what passes for Southern fare in Texas and every city in between: Knoxville, Louisville, New Orleans, etc. There is a wide and scrumptious range of southern cooking out there.
Much of what Peachtree will serve won’t be available anywhere else because there won’t be anything else like it in Ohio. Peachtree taps into Southern cuisine and makes it their own. The menu similar in name, but not necessarily in preparation, to the foods one is likely to stumble across on the menus in restaurants throughout the South that fancy themselves the ultimate, exclusive go-to places for classical southern cuisine.
Clichés? Of course. It wouldn’t be Southern cooking without fried chicken, pulled pork, prime rib, collard greens, cornbread, grits, pecan pie, barbecue. These and other distinctively regional tastes will anchor the core menu (subject to tweaking, of course), allowing for spin-offs from it to highlight amazing tastes (variations on conventional themes) that only Peachtree can dream up.
